Hey, Stylish!

Check print is so hot right now starting with a classic jacket cut that has been spotted everywhere at the NYFW. I decided to give a second life to my  90’s dress jacket and pair it with a head to toe vintage. However, you can pair the check trend with almost everything and easily dress it down and dress it up. For instance, pair it with a ripped denim skirt and moto boots for that edgy look or with sequined jeans to glam up the classic cut. I created a couple of collages for your inspiration:

Head to Toe Velvet or Five Trends in One

Hey, Stylish!
Velvet has been a huge trend since Fall 2015 and is still being seen on multiple runways. However, comparing to the velvet inspirations from 2015 the silhouettes and cuts are more sophisticated and now it is totally common to see shoes and accessories in velvet as well as all clothing possibly imagined. In my today’s look, I combined five trends in one: velvet+wrap dress+fakefur+turban. If you get your inspirations from the runway as I do, you can check out velvet in many unpredictable variations:

And the most interesting part about it is that you can mix and match all the items and silhouettes together, creating a cohesive and ultra trendy look.
Let me know what do you think about velvet trend!

Jumpsuit and My Come Back

Hi Stylish!

If anyone still here, I want to apologize for a long break. Since I have a little bit of free time during  summer, I will update on the outfits and trends I found interesting and worth talking about.

Back to the trends. Spring is time for floral prints, which is an obvious, cheesy way to update your look for spring or summer.  However, Sp16/SS16 trends are requiring abstract  representation of floral as well as hyper realistic.  You can find photo realistic floral prints in  Jenny Packman’s spring collection:

more abstract, almost flat and very “patchwork” in Gucci’s:

and very feminine, watercolor florals in  Simone Rocha’s:

So even if you think that florals are predictable for summer, the representation of it is quite different and changes from season to season.

Ugly Sweater Competition

Hello my stylish friends!
Since I live in San Francisco, I am lucky to decide what I want to wear regardless the weather. Today I have a winter mood. I have never owned an ugly sweater that is so popular during Christmas time, but I found this fluffy and terrifically trendy sweater, and felt in love with it. Oversized angora sweaters are still on runways. Check out some of my inspirations:

Jeune et Belle

hukhSONY DSCHello my stylish friends!

How we can always remain jeune et belle( aka beautiful and young)? My answer would be: sport chic. I am so obsessed with mixing casual pieces and statement jewelry or chic pieces,to add a drop of glamour to everyday look. It is a first rule of French fashionistas. Here are some French source d’inspiration:

Neon Splash

Hello my stylish and gorgeous friends!

What can make any (even boring) outfit become a new trend? The answer is BOLD and VIVID colors! You can add neon yellow, green and hot pink to any combination of colors, and it will rock your basic outfit. However, remember that in this case your outfit will turn into funky and trendy look. My suggestion is to experiment with textures and create a “color base” for such bright colors. As usual, some inspirations for you:
