The exaggeration of the forms and silhouettes is the most important trend this Fall. You can notice a lot of shoulder pads and puffy sleeves at Dior, Balenciaga, and other runways. If you want to wear this trend in life, I would recommend wearing it with a straight bottom rather than fitted one, to make look extra edgy and careless.
The exaggerated forms always look better in neutral colors and black because you can really appreciate the intricate silhouette in a clean color. I already had created some of the dramatic sleeves outfits previously, so you can get some inspiration from there.
I leave you with great examples to take note of:

This time I would love to share with you a great source to buy this cool jacket. The round metallic detailing in clothes and accessories is a must-have in this season and this jacket is the exaggeration of this trend. Wear it with a pair of jeans and tank top or with the black maxi for a more dramatic look. And the best news is that this jacket is on sale!!!

You know that I am in love with the kimono trend recently because the kimono converts any outfit into relaxed, effortlessly chic one. Even at the hottest day in San Francisco (which is almost a nonsense) my vintage kimono was keeping me cold because of its silk and cotton blend. I would really recommend finding your perfect kimono in the local vintage stores because the quality of them is much higher than the modern ones. You can always find kimonos in a robe section in almost any thrift shop. For some runway inspirations, check out Gucci and Alice+Olivia:

The story of the kimono has always intrigued Western world and took many forms in the way it is adapted in nowadays wear. We have seen many examples of the new silhouettes and textiles of many variations of the kimonos. I am actually a big fan of the traditional kimonos that are universally flattering. If you want to adapt more wearable look you can mix it with slip dresses (like I did) or with jeans for a more casual, eclectic look. As usual, I leave you with the freshest runway inspirations:

My favorite pattern is paisley aka”Turkish cucumber” and I am very glad that it is fashionable in Spring season. Paisley become popular in Western World during 1960s era of hippie movement. I live in San Francisco, the heart of hippie movement, therefore I supposed to love colorful and rich “Persian pickle”. I got my inspiration from from Paisley projection photography by John French. If you are not familiar with his work, here it is:

Hello my stylish friends!
I am in love with Breton pattern. The official striped navy and white pattern was picked up by seafarers and sailors across the region of Northern France. Nowadays, Breton is one of the most wearable prints that represent French chic style. Here is some proof:
Do you like Breton as much as I do?
