Hey, Stylish!

If you ask me what era of fashion inspires me the most, I would say the 80’s. I am so into hyper forms and drama which was the motto of the 80’s fashion. I also like the fact that the natural materials were used for everything. If you want to buy great leather pieces, find 80’s vintage. I truly believe that buying vintage leather, fur, and cotton is the only way to bring sustainability into the fashion industry. My great vintage jacket with detachable sleeves is from ULTRA-CAT, a bold and unique brand that would be launched very soon. Stay tuned, I leave you with great inspirations:

Hey, Stylish!

I am so happy that Fall is finally here and the fall-winter colors are finally appropriate to wear. My most favorite fall color so far is gray that you can see at Marni’s and Alexander Wang collections. Gray can make any cheap clothing look more presentable and polished, just make sure the cut is flattering. The best perks of gray that it is the  universal color that would enhance any other color and hue! I leave you with cool inspirations:

Hey, Stylish!

The gingham has been so popular Spring 17 and this Summer that you can see this print in any store and collection. I decided to pair my gingham Victoria Beckham x Target suit with the polka dot Jeffrey Campbell platform to bring some edginess to the very preppy and polished print. I would recommend pairing the graphic prints with a pop of color, for example, mega trendy red color to enhance the contrast. I also put together some of the outfits for you as a fresh perspective how to transition your gingham into Fall season:

Hi Stylish!

I am obsessed with Advanced Style blog. If you have never heard about Iris Apfel and Valerie Von Sabel you definitely need to check out this blog that captures bold and elegant style of older New Yorkers. It is interesting that the older fashionistas have more courage to mix prints and wear bright accessories. That courage makes their style unique and unrepeatable; what is impossible to say about “style” perception that we have nowadays. I feel that we assume that “style” is a synonym for “hype”. That is why Pinterest and Instagram are full of Kardashian family clones that look the same.

My today’s look was inspired by the way Advance style ladies mix prints, according to certain rules:

1.Bolder=better

2.Fabric has to match (wool with heavier textures, silk or chiffon with lighter)

3. Add a resting point ( a part of your outfit where an eye can rest, in my case the rest point are my shoes)

Enjoy some inspirations from Advanced Style:
