I have always been fascinated by the work of the famous stylist Patricia Field in the Sex and the City. Even though, she viewed Carrie Bradshaw as a fashion risk taker, many of her outfits were so fashion forward and effortlessly chic at the same time. I really enjoy her outfits in Paris, so feminine and avant-garde at the same time. I tried to adapt this aesthetic into my today’s outfit by taking the feminine silhouettes and mixing them with a bold print mixing technique. Check out some great Carrie Bradshaw inspirations:

How to wear Dolce and Gabanna without actually wearing it? Here is the formula: all black+ feminine cuts+exaggerated forms and silhouettes. I think the third variable in this equation is the most important. I am a big fan of good drama, so exaggerated detailing can bring some new feelings to simple clothes. Just take my look: a simple black sandals are upgraded with a feather trim, a sweater is detailed with bows and my glasses are embellished with flowers- simple forms spiced with exagerated detailing.
As usual, some of my observations and inspirations. This time from D&G:

Hello my stylish friends!
I found my place in art and architecture, that is why I am always fascinated by artists and their talents. Frida Kahlo is one of my favorite surrealistic artists. Frida had an extraordinary personality. She liked to live in constant self-expression and passion. It is so evident in her art! She was THE WOMAN ,the way she dressed, and also the way she carried herself prove it without any doubt.
What is your inspiration for today?
